ok there is enough stuff to write about at the moment from ports to presidents but I am going to write about a weird occurrence that happened to me.

I had a dream that referenced another dream. Weird huh?

Well the first dream was about me and some friends hiking through the woods and getting lost. we ran across a house, a big nice house. it was like we stumbled onto the edge of a subdivision. well I had the idea to go to the house and find out where we were.  We go up to the house and start talking to the guy. He is extremely friendly and suggests we stay the night. some how I ask him what he does and he says he owns a chain of conveince stores and a couple of liquor stores.  well everyone seems taken by him, more like captivated, but not me.  After the first night I start asking him about calling a taxi so we can go home. he says "that wouldn't be a good idea" and other veiled threats.

Oh and BTW guess what his name was, corbin bersen, yea like the misspelling of the actors name. but he didn't look like corbin bernsen. But remember him saying how his name was spellt. I cant remember what his face looked like, dreams are funny that way.

well after 2 days of this I basically force the issue and we leave, we walk out of this subdivision and remember all the people we met along the way looking at us funny, after that it gets hazy and I wake up.

Thats the first dream, the second is pretty humdrum but here goes.

I returned home, but the house looked different than my real house, bigger. Apparently I had been away for awhile and my friend bill had thrown me a surprise party.  He had cooked a bunch of food and in fact was wearing an apron. well the same people that were on the hike with me in the first dream were all there and a few more.

Well one of the guys introduces me to this indian guy he works with (totally made up dream indian guy) and shortly afterwards someone realizes we need beer and they suggest I go with him to the store. and on the way out the guy that introduces me to him suggests I tell the story of when we went to corbin's house.

And in the dream I start telling me the story of the first dream. but in this one I mention he owns all the jifo stores. And the indian guy is like yea I have heard of him, and mentions how he has a gourmet cheese section in his stores and that corbin is a su chef.

after that it gets fuzzy and I wake up, I don't think we ever got the beer.

I think the part about the cheese was inspired by me going to an up scale store right before I went to sleep and it had a huge selection of cheese, but the rest is just pure fancy.

So anyone have a dream that referenced another dream like that?  or in any way?

was watching a dr who episode and this villain was talking about life and asking why. and a thought popped in my head "life is its own purpose".

I googled it and found tons of references to the phrase.

I wonder who thought of it? I assume it popped into my head because I heard it before.

Or maybe its one of those realizations that most intelligent people come to.  Or maybe its one of those "race" memories, I mean the human race of course.

It is in direct opposition of most of the people that run the world's view though. So maybe its the fact that most people that crave power and have power are ignorant.

how is that legal? why doesn't diebold just say who wins the elections and we can all stay home on election day.

diebold machines use access databases to store the results, which is propitary, but its owned by microsoft not diebold.

diebold isn't smart enough to make their own format.

Maybe its a guilty conscience, maybe its that we don't have an army ready to invade them. But its at least one more bit of evidence that this really happened.

I just picked a random day(today) and did a search for the next 14 days.   I typed hitler into tvguide.com and found like 10 shows that mention hitler.

did the same on stalin found 6

did the same on patton and found lots of shows that had word patton, but only one with that was about general patton and of course it was the movie "patton".

did the same on Churchill and found several matches for the word Churchill only found one that was actually talking about Winston Churchill and that was "the eagle has landed"  a work of fiction.

I am reminded of the onion article that was a fake press release by the history channel saying they benefited from the suffering of the Jewish people, in reference to all the shows they have on hitler.

I am not a historical revisionist or anything. I enjoy watching WW2 documentaries, the world at war is a really good series.  But it seems kinda odd with the increase of the fascist organisations in the world  (the grey wolves, stormfronters, aryan nation to name a few) that cable tv seems to be pandering to them.

Not to say that the shows are favourable to hitler, like this one

Yes there is alot of evidence that hitler was a male prostitute in Vienna.  I don't know if thats in the documentary but when I saw that I did a little research and found a webpage that talked in detail about it.  Wish I had saved it for here, but oh well, its not really the sorta thing I would bookmark. I am not saying that finding out someone in history was a homosexual is an insult to them but I wager that neo nazi's would.  So I don't really count that show.

But even the world at war, which goes out of its way to interview survivors of the death camps, shows plenty of material that I think would be appealing to neo nazis.  Not that they did it intentionally,  not at all. But these fucks are so warped that seeing nazis in uniform fighting gives them a hard on. Never mind the commentary talking about the how stalingrad was the "mass grave of the wermarch"

I am not for censoring hitler off of tv, by any means, we cant learn from history if we don't know about it. But where are the documentaries on Patton, Churchill, and even a few more stalin.  I am sure they exist, but why are they not on tv?  But here is another question, for instance a show about the eastern front doesn't mention stalin in its description.   What is that about?

It almost seems like they are pandering to people with an interest in hitler.  I know I am not the first person to talk about this. Just thought it needed to be said.

I love liberty over the single life of any America. even my own.
just the same as the solders who died in ww2 where casualties of our liberty, so is anyone that dies because we have the right to privacy. no one wanted or wants either group to do die but they should be honoured for their sacrifice.
I wish I could say the same about the solders in Iraq. they are casualties of our foreign policy. Not to say that they should not be honoured. they gave their lives for our country no matter what the cause, they followed orders and died because of those orders. And they deserve the honour and respect of any American soldier that died in combat.

Hitler was a threat to our way of life and freedoms. He had plans to invade America once he was through with Europe and Russia. The only threat now to our national security is our dependence on oil.

Bush knows this and having military bases all over the middle east is a good way to keep control of the oil.  This is the wrong approach. I am sorry but it is criminal to use something we hold most dear as a club of foreign policy. What we hold most dear is the lives and liberties of Americans and America. We start a war in the middle east big suprise terrorism goes up, we need new "anti terror" laws to take away our freedom.  And in wars lives are lost.

If we could find some group of alternative fuels and energy saving technologies, less polluting technologies. we could beat this. It wont be one single development but a cohesive plan of several part. But the chances of that happening at the current time seem to be about zero.

its winter and yet somehow small flys or gnats I don't know the difference but I don't think it matters, still somehow they find their way into my house. I am not infested with them or anything.  It just seems like one or two fly into the house when I open the door.

Well I have found something that annoys them more than they annoy me and its fun.

Laser pointers. hit those bastards with a laser pointer when they are flying around it makes them go nuts they run away from it. but I have come to the conclusion that flys have eye lids or at least can turn off their eyes. because it doesn't affect them when they sitting on the ceiling where I cant get to them with a fly swatter.

maybe they just cant handle being blinded while flying but its still fun. they make amazing manurers to avoid the laser light.  its nice giving them a little payback. 

oh well maybe I will write some nice anti racist political message soon.  but till then everyone (that incredibly small group of people that read this, that read and never comment that is) will have to be satisfied with this.

This house of cards is going to fall down, but the question is when.

I think the chance of an actual revolution is slim to none. The only way a revolution would happen in America is if some part of the establishment wanted it to happen.   Most of the "revolutionary" group has been infiltrated, there was a point when 30% percent of the America communist party was FBI informants.  A high up black panther official was an FBI informant. The list goes on. If you attend any sorta revolutionary group meeting chances are if you look around you will  be looking at 1 or more FBI agents.

But things will change, I think the system will make itself unworkable and change will just happen because it has too. Something will make it stop working, maybe oil going down the other side of the peak, maybe some massive financial crisis. Who knows. But it will happen. If we had accurate figures about the total amount of oil left on the planet, and I mean easy  to get to oil, no oil sands. Then we could get an idea of how much time we have left. But its not in their best interests to do so. 

The system wont be able to exist any more and a new one will take its place. Who knows what that may be but it will be grown out of necessity and hopefully be more response to the needs of the people.

We will go through some tough times but in the end I think we will be better off. Lets just make sure we are.

This guy was developing a DIY cruise missile program that would cost $5000 to make. I mean its interesting enough idea on its own. there are the usual terrorist uses such a thing could have but thats not what I am talking about.

Imagine this, lets assume it has a 100-200 pound cargo space. I don't what the current price but I read somewhere that the price of cocaine is around 15k-18lk a kilo thats 2.2 pounds. on the low end (100 lbs @15k) thats $675,000 per payload, at the high end is $1.6 million

At a cost of $5k a shot thats pretty cost effective.

plus a cruise missile is designed to fly under radar, to be even safer you could have it land in a remote lake,  just have someone camp out near the lake to keep an eye on it. If they search the entire area looking for some unknown object that crashed your guy is there to look innocent and say things like  "I was camping here all night I didn't hear or see nothing"

Plus there is nothing to say you cant drop a couple of them in a lake.

Then when you think its safe (a day, a month whatever)  send a diver to pick up the cocaine. Then a few days later send another one to get the missile and get rid of it. This is assuming the missile is disposable. Even if its not its probably a good idea to get rid of it it, as opposed to ripping it to pieces and shipping it out of the country.

Imagine this a cartel "missile destroyer" something that probably would look like a medium sized tanker or cargo ship. but have a hidden launch rack(s) for the missile(s),    it could skirt the coast of America just inside international waters launching cruise misses at predetermined sites along the way.

In addition to lakes you have remote fields, I have heard of drug runners scoping out a farmers field having someone land a plane on a dirt road at night after the have lined the side with lights.  this would be even more discrete, especially if you owned the land, but you don't even have too.

Have the missile turn off its engines a good distance before impact like the v-2's did for stealth. It would be some dark silent object falling through the sky. and if you pick the right day of the month it would be pretty much invisible. It might make a little noise when it landed, just pick a far off field. pull up with a trailer or u-haul load it up and get the hell out of there.

I think the accuracy of gps that people can buy is 30feet.And thats the thing its built from off the shelf parts and runs Real Time Linux., so but a accurate as hell gps with a computer interface and linux drivers and you are set.  just get the coordinates of a nice freshly tilled field and plop it next to the road. you drive up and are gone.

I am not condoning it, but I know I cant be the only person to see this, so when you see "cruise missile full of cocaine found" think of me.

I mean sure not every missile would get through, but if you built them well the failure rate would be really small. Plus not every shipment goes through now. plus this way if it fails while getting smuggled in no one gets caught.  I think this is the way you are going to be hearing about drugs coming into the country in the near future(5-20 years)

Although all the technology exists right now, someone could do this tomorrow. No doubt when it becomes public there will be a call to spend millions to build a defence grid of some sort. The simplest solution is make it legal, make money off it instead of pouring money into it. I think cocaine is an evil drug, but so is alcohol and nicotine. I would rather see people honestly educated and given a choice than given propaganda and put in jail.

I think I am going to pour myself a glass of fine liquor and smoke a cigar, they are evil but legal.

this may seem obvious to anyone in the "scene" but software companies get tons of free expose from piracy.

There are tons of programs and games I would never have heard about if it wasnt for piracy. I downloaded a pirated copy of couter strike and when I got tired of playing the guys at work on our cracked server, I actually bought the whole boxed set. They got a sale and I got a badass series of games.

It works for apps too. There was a group called "DAMN" that used to pirate everything by vandyke. I was an avid user of SCRT so I when I went to download the newest damn keygen(thats how I knew when to upgrade when they released a new keygen) I was like "hey whats this vandyke program called vshell DAMN has a keygen for". So I started using vshell for my home network. I would have never bought it, now I use openssh, but at the time I wanted an ssh server and was lazy so I grabbed vshell. Honestly now days get openssh, they have it for linux, bsd and windows, and its free. But back them for windows ssh it was one of the few around, and at the time it was the best, or at least the best I could pirate. So when a windows customer need a secure way to encrypt email and other traffic from people coming in from outside the network I suggested vshell, and they got a high level license from it. Now some other program at the time might have been better but since I wasnt able to pirate it and try it out I didnt know about and therefore couldnt recomend it.

But its a delicate game, more of a dance, if you make it too easy for people to pirate you, they will bend you over. Like safehouse from pcdynamics, you can download the full version from thier website the only hitch is it requires a install password. Well its the same password for every copy and there is no online verification. So somone buys one copy(probably a group of people pooling thier money) and the password is instantly spread around the internet, I used to know one of them by heart it was like bluebird and a number or something like that.  They probably got one sale eveytime they changed the password. And they changed it like 3 times in the many years I have used the program, maybe it was snowbird. 

The perfect balence is to change the key system right before a major feature add upgrade. That way there is a lag where people will want the new version but will be unable to find a crack. Some will break down and buy the product, people are feature whores. This also provides imputues to increase the features in programs, a good and bad thing that leads to bloat. 

If I was an apiring young shareware developer I would release a shareware copy of my program as a pack in the warez scene, but I would include a crack that didnt work.  Dont worry most people will just read the info, they wont even bother to try to install it. That way people will want the program because they cant have it. eventually someone will crack it if its popular but untill then people will buy a copy just to release it to thier serial group(probably with a stolen credit card unless you give them a paypal option).

Now you might say, "I will do an online serial number check" but that usualy kills the piracy of most apps. Unless you are some huge company with a lot of advertising I wouldnt go that route. That is why wild tangent games rarely get pirated.

Bottom line you want piracy, just not too much.
